PFL/UWE BRISTOL CIE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

The University of the West of England, Bristol, in collaboration with PFL Ghana, presented a scholarship worth £2500 to this year’s best Cambridge International Exams candidate in a ceremony held on Friday 25th June 2010 at the British Council in Accra, Ghana.

Master Okoewa Olatunde, a student of Alpha Beta Christian College emerged the best candidate for the 2010 Cambridge International Exams, in Ghana. He won the award after attaining Nine(9) A*. For his excellent performance, the University of the West of England, Bristol (UWE) presented Master Okoewa Olatunde with the scholarship worth £2500 at a well attended ceremony. Mr Alex Greene, the International Students coordinator of UWE was also in the country and paid a courtesy call on the British council and Alpha Beta Christian College to congratulate the Award winner.

At the Awards ceremony, Master Fatau Jad Ali (front row, left) also received an award for being the Best CIE Mathematics candidate in the world. All the award winners received other prize packages including laptops from the British council.
