PFL AUSTRALASIA INFORMATION SEMINAR IN NIGERIA
On Saturday 12th December an information seminar hosted by PFL Australasia was held in Ikeja, Nigeria to promote study options in Australia and New Zealand.
AUSTRALASIAN & AFRICAN TOURS - Nov/Dec 2009
After an extremely busy 15 days of touring New Zealand and Australian Universities and Colleges, Trevor Masters (PFL Regional Director) and Counsellors Ada Ogbonna (Surulere/Nigeria Office) and Ali Farooq (Lahore/Pakistan Office) have safely returned to their home countries.
Both Ali and Ada had a great time and are now fully charged with information to share with the other Counsellors during training sessions over the next week or so.
All PFL partners met with during the tour were very enthusiastic about receiving applications from our African and Pakistan offices with the majority of them currently teaching students from these countries.
Trevor has a few days back in New Zealand between tours before heading to Nigeria and Kenya in early December to deliver staff training and presentations to prospective students.
“I am really looking forward to my African trip and spending quality time and productive days with my African Counsellors, Support Staff and Management team” Trevor said. He is also looking forward to heading a presentation at The Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos on Saturday 12th December (10.30am Inner Crockpot room) designed for all prospective students, families and anyone who is interested in learning more about what Australia and New Zealand can offer.
PFL AUSTRALASIA ACTIVITY IN PAKISTAN - October 2009
Beaconhouse – All Girls Campus
Approximately 30 O level and A level students attended the Presentation/Information Desk at Beaconhouse (All Girls Campus) Islamabad on 5th October. The presentation was held in a very cordial and peaceful atmosphere and students took keen interest. It was almost half an hour presentation after which there was a question answer session. Students asked many questions about the Australian and New Zealand education system. Overall it was a very successful event. We introduced the PFL brand name in a very presentable manner, and we hope that we will get prospective students from this institute in future.
Beaconhouse – Motorway Campus
The Presentation/Information Desk was held on 8th October at Beaconhouse (Motorway Campus) Rawalpindi. As part of the Career Advisory programme, Beaconhouse arranged a presentation session for its students to have the best and accurate information regarding further higher studies in Australia/New Zealand. Approximately 50 students of O level and A level attended the session.
Beaconhouse – Banigala Campus
An Information desk was set up at Beaconhouse (Banigala Campus) on 12th October and continued for more than two hours. Many students visited the desk with lot of queries, mostly related to MBBS, Dentistry, Law and Business. Students were given information about different courses in the Australian/New Zealand Universities. A few of them have since visited PFL Australasia Islamabad office and their applications are in process.
Beaconhouse – Wahh Campus
The Presentation/Information Desk on 13th October at Beaconhouse (Wahh Campus), Wahh Cantt, started at 11:00am in the school’s library room. More than 40 students participated in this session. It was an excellent opportunity to create awareness among students about PFL Australasia and its services in an institution that is located in the outskirts of Rawalpindi/Islamabad. The students took keen interest and asked questions that were answered accordingly.
Beaconhouse – Hayatabad Campus
A Presentation/Information desk was held at Beaconhouse (Hayatabad Campus) at Peshawar on October 15, 2009. Beaconhouse Hayatabad Campus is a well established institution having more than 300 students studying in O level and A level. Beaconhouse Hayatabad Campus is recognized for its quality education and conductive learning environment. Approximately 45 students attended the presentation. After the presentation, individual counseling was given to the interested students.
